First trip will on June 19 to Potosi Brewing Museum, with stops at Ale Asylum in Madison on the way West and Minhas (former Huber) Brewery on our return - Cost $75, includes coach, 3 brewery tours & samplings, lunch at Potosi Brewery Restaurant & the Potosi Brewing Museum tour.

Second trip is an "overnighter," on July 30 - 31, headed to Stevens Point Brewery, Central Waters Brewery in Amherst, both Red Eye & Great Dane (x-Hereford & Hops) Brewpubs in Wausau, and O'So Brewing in Plover, WI. Trip will include overnight lodging plus 5 brewery tours and samplings.

We are delighted to be collaborating on a very special "intime" beer dinner featuring Belgian regional recipes. We promise you that Craig's special chefs will be presenting dishes you have never been offered in Chicago before and a special taste of Maitrank. We bet you have never had that either!
I’m back and very excited to formally announce “A Taste of the Belgian Provinces” Beer dinner in conjunction with X-Marx! From time to time I have worked with a local team of Chef’s called X-Marx. We have collaborated to offer exciting food and wine dinners in the past. Now we are back after a brief hiatus with what promises to be a delicious, entertaining and educational beer dinner focusing on Belgian beers matched with a take on food from their provinces.
We are honored to be joined by Don Feinberg and Wendy Littlefield of Vanberg & De Wulf. Two of the most authoritative figures on Belgian beer in the United States. Their import company brings some of Belgian’s best beers to our tables here in the United States.
It is no secret that Belgium has some of the most extraordinary cuisine in the world. Throughout the country regional dishes are paired with local beers. This evening is meant to explore the wonderful world of Belgian beers and their provincial pairings. Six beers will be poured alongside six dishes specially created to match. Two of the beers have never been poured in Chicago, so this will be an evening of exciting new discoveries.

It is rare that Avec departs from its regular menu for a beer dinner.
